Job Title: Social Media Manager

 

Overview:

Out of Dust Marketing & Communication is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our fast-growing agency and breathe life into our client’s online presence. As our Social Media Manager, you will be the official voice for our growing list of clients in the restaurant, music & entertainment, nonprofit, construction industries, and more. 

 

The ideal candidate loves social media marketing and management and especially enjoys keeping up with trends related to social media platforms. The overall focus as our Social Media Manager is increasing brand awareness through the effective use of social media outlets. 

 

Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing, implementing and managing our client’s social media marketing, management and advertising strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Keeping track of essential social media KPIs, including post reach, engagement, followers, page likes, reputation management, and more
  • Manage and oversee all social media content being published for each of our client’s social media outlets
  • Measuring the success of monthly social media marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Staying up to date with the latest social media best practices and platforms
  • Using social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Creative Studio, Business Manager, Campaign Manager and more
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Collaborate with Account Director and Clients
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Hire and train others in the team
  • Generate, edit, publish and share weekly content (original text, images, or video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content
  • Moderate all user-generated content and respond accordingly
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules for month and or quarter at-a-glance


Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
  • Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
